Weather In Krakow
When it comes to weather, it can be said that Krakow definitely has the best (or worst, depending on how you view it) of both worlds. The summer season brings in hot or mild and temperate weather, while the winter season brings in really cold temperatures. So in short, the city of Krakow experiences the four seasons common to countries above the equator.
If you are a summer loving kind of person, then it would definitely be a good idea to go there during the summer time. The temperature on a normal summer day in Krakow is around 30 to 35 degrees Celsius. Expect full on humidity and bring your trusted hat with you. Don’t worry though if the heat and humidity is messing with your hair, there are lots of department stores or malls just around the corner. These stores carry all your needs – from food to clothes, so no need to worry.
But if your schedule only permits you to go to Krakow during the winter months, then expect snow – lots of it. Don’t forget to bring your winter essentials like your favorite cashmere sweater or your gloves. You will thank yourself for bringing these essentials because a normal winter day at Krakow could be as low as -5 degrees Celsius.
Now that is what you call a really bitingly cold winter. If you came to Krakow, for example, at July; if you are a fan of the sun, you’ve hit the jackpot. The month of July is the hottest time of the year. But if you want to see the city at its best, go there during the spring (mid April through May) and be delighted to discover that the city has been enveloped in the smell of sweet flowers. The weather is truly as diverse as the culture and people of Krakow.
